Biography

An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Juancho Herrera is an artist that defies labels and categories. Based in NYC for the past decade, his name has been associated with music luminaries such as Mercedes Sosa, Alejandro Sanz, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Idan Raichel, Lila Downs and others.

As a songwriter, Juancho draws inspiration from his native South American origins as well as influences from the Caribbean, Africa and North America. His message is one of unity, understanding, social awareness and freedom of expression.
