Judah

Judah of Rochester, New York, was formed in 2005. In this short time Judah has established themselves as one of the most dynamic gospel groups around today and now consists of Danny, Andrae, and Henry, Jayquan, and Melvin, the combination which gives Judah their unique and diverse sound. These young continue to be fire for the Lord at all times and always ready to lift the name of God. Judah is ready and willing to spread God’s word to everyone through gospel music. It doesn't matter who you are young, old, rich, poor, strong or weak in faith you will be blessed by their music ministry. Their name speaks for its self "Judah" which means "Praise". If you hear them sing you will see that’s just what they do, give God the praise.
With a heavy anointing Judah sings with conviction, power, versatility, and charisma. Judah however, is no stranger to gospel music, for they have been singing and playing all of their lives in many family and local gospel groups and choirs, in and around Rochester, NY. After having completing two full CD’s projects, and ministering on many gospel concerts, Music showcases and Music industry seminars. Judah has now been given the opportunity to be able to take their music to higher levels in the music industry. Judah travels frequently to many cities within the United States, and soon to other countries as well. Judah has also appeared in several newspaper and magazine articles. Such as: The Gospel Music Workshops of America (GMWA) newsletter, The Tennessee Tribune, City Newspaper, Democrat & Chronicle, and IM Magazine. Judah and its members have received nominations for Best Male Vocalist, Song Writers of North Carolina, and The Central Florida Gospel District Awards. They have appeared on historical and some of the greatest ever television programming in America, such as Showtime at the Apollo on Tour and American Idol, performed in concert in Disney Land, Anaheim California. Recently Judah has been invited to appear on the Allstate Gospel Super fest Battle of the Bands.
Judah has had the opportunity to travel near and far, all over, allowing them to share the stage with gospel greats such as The Flint Cavilers, The Christianaires, Walter Barnes, Doc McKenzie, Legendary Spencer Taylor and the Hi-Way Qc’s Luther Barnes, The Canton Spirituals, The Gospel 4, The Vilonaires, and a host of others.
The Inspiration of Judah comes from gospel greats such as, Lee Williams & the Spiritual Qc’s The Cantons, Mr. Paul Porter, Mr. Frank Williams, and many others.
The main objective of Judah is to let people know, especially the younger generation, that you can be saved and still have fun, praising the Lord and you don’t have to dress or look a certain way for God to move in your life or to be blessed, that you can make a difference in this world with just what God has given to you.
