"DFW Judas Rising Hell Bent For Leather"

Judas Rising, a dawning band from the DFW area, is tribute to Judas Priest, the early 80's. Focusing mainly on classic metal and influenced by such groups like; Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and of course Judas Priest, being their main inspiration for this project, they now may have found their calling. Their recent performance at The Rail Club in Fort Worth has placed them on the right track as a force to be seen, visually and musically!

The members in Judas Rising has changed in the past few years but today's line up includes; vocalist Brian Dixon with his wielding an extremely wide vocal range, on lead guitar one, Allan Davis, and on lead guitar two, Gordie O'Shea. Both of which exemplified eloquent grace and control over every guitar strum. Playing the drums with prodigious rhythm, Terry Sims. Lastly, to pull it all together, is their spectacular bassist, Jerry Schrader.
The band performed familiar Priest hits as; "Another Thing Coming," "Breaking The Law" and "Turbo Lover." The precision in each song was breath taking. Every member stayed on point with every note and the fans were right there with them every second of the way. Crowd pleasin' to the max!
Dressed for the occasion, in their 80's Hell Bent For Leather attire, added more character to their performance which was reflected by the audience's enthusiasm. Quite visually stimulating. The crowd at hand were on their feet having a good time. They were even held overtime by the insistent pleas of the crowd. Overall, the band was very animated, in character, and experienced with over 12 years of practice.

Definitely a must see band! - Cyn Foy
