Feeling a bit camera shy

Jude Kastle’s music career began in her father’s church in Georgia. Two weeks out of high school Jude moved to New York City on her own. Since then she has formed her own Kastle Records, released two albums, opened for Grammy Winner Phil Vassar and won a silver Flagstaff award for a composition she wrote for a PSA. Jude is presently touring the US in support of her latest release ”Junkie for Fire”.
Jude’s influences are as diverse as the New York City streets she walks down. From her gospel background, the southern rock that her older brothers blared out of their bedrooms to the first band she joined in NY. “I was 19 and I joined a reggae band called Symbol of Unity, we’d play gigs in Flatbush that never started till 3am. It was my version of school. I also remember being 15 and shaving one side of my head. I was obsessed with The Cure. That was the first concert I ever went to.” In her latest release “Junkie for Fire” Jude has a reggae ditty called STOOP, which she also has a ring tone for that will blow your socks off. It’s available at www.decentx.com
