Bio
I sing about life, real things that people experience and feel deeply. My influences are Patty Griffin, Carole King, Leonard Cohen and John Mayer. I was born in Canada and I am a singer-songwriter who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. I grew up listening to my mother and brother play guitar and sing folk music. I write and sing country and folk songs, which are written from the heart and with a bit of wit. I perform at local open mics. My current day job is CTO (Chief Transportation Officer) for my two children who are 13 and 10 years old. In November, 2009, my song "Shut Up & Be Nice won "Best Country Song" in the ISSA (Independent Singer Songwriter Association) Song Contest 2009. In December, 2009, my song "Christmas at Morning Light" was performed by 80 children at my daughter's elementary school.
