Judy Rideout writes songs. The songs tell stories. Judy Rideout has played music, from bluegrass to blues and rock to country. Judy's music with the X-Husbands is her own and its easy to listen to - its a blend of the music that Judy has played over the years. The music borders on country and could also be called folk rock. Judy has opened for Willie P. Bennett, Roger Marin and Tom Wilson. Currently, Judy Rideout & The X-Husbands are the house band at Port Dover's Robot Cafe. Judy has played at festivals such as, the Simcoe Friendship festival and has been a return guest at the Fred Eaglesmith Southern Charity Picnic.The members of the X-Husbands have been known to be....
Harry White, bass, grew up in the same neighborhood as Judy and has been in and out of the same kinda bands, bars and marriages.
Tom Wells, drums, has played with Judy in numerous bands at various events and locations. Tom is a veteran drummer playing with bands such as Tin Pan Alley, Fabulous Replacements,
Killbillys and Robert Gordon. Tom has also been in business since 1989, www.wellscustondrums.com building custom maple drum kits and exotic hand made steam bent solid snare drums.
Terry Edmunds, guitar, started playing at the age of 5 and was touring and recording with the Minglewood Band by 17. Terry then joined the Dutch Mason band, touring across Canada for
more than five years. From there Terry was creating his own bands such as the Ravioli Brothers, Wildchild Blues Band and the Terry Edmunds Band. Judy is pleased to have one of Canada's
greatest guitar players adding to her music. Terry has opened for George Thorogood, Charlie Daniels, Katie Webster, Lonnie Mack, Lonnie Brooks, Pat Travers, Johnny Winter and many more.
