Bio

Juerlaine's music is influenced by her beleif that music is an international voice to speak aloud good and honest truths and interact with souls from all corners. Influenced by artists such as, John Butler Trio, The Waifs, Xavier Rudd, Angus and Julia Stone... Juerlaine is on her musical journey to give the same gift to someone else that these artists gave to her.

‘Hi my name is Juerlaine. I grew up by the sea in a quaint little Cray fishing town on the west coast of Australia. I began playing guitar when I was 12 years old, when I started writing humorous songs with friends. In 2005 my family left the town to move to the Southwest to run a business. When we moved to Margaret River like many others it didn’t take long to fall in love with the trees, the surf culture and the funky breed of people. My guitar then become a channel for everything I knew, the things I saw, love, and my off-centre point of view of all the crazy world. In early 2008 with the recommendation of family and friends I started to play in a few local pubs, “open mike nights”, and at a couple of local festivals. By this time I had added the fun of playing multiple instruments at once (harmonica, stomp box and percussions, and guitar,) to my repertoire. With the help of a good friend and a bedroom computer we recorded some demo CD’s to hand around. Now after an inspirational trip into the northwest, I am back to work on some professional recording… to make an album, hopefully to be ready for independent release before the end of the year. Working a variety of jobs and enjoying life day to day, whilst juggling in being an independent musician in what should never have become an industry! Then soon enough back on the road of “beatin tracks”, guitars and all to play some music to the rest of the country. Right now this is me and here I am, Peace to all, see you around.’
