Julia Parshuta

Julia Parshuta - singer, actress, composer, author, model and a contestant on the Russian Talent Show "Star Factory" in 2007. In that year's competition, she was a part of the musical group, put together by the famous brothers Meladze, In-Yan. Together they won third place in the competition. Julia, while with In-Yan, toured many different countries and islands around the world such as United States of America, Israel, Canada, Greece, Canarie Islands, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Kazakhstan,Turkey, Uzbekistan. After four years together as a group, Julia decided to leave In-Yan to start her own solo music career in which she would sing her self-written songs.
Born in, Sochi, Russia, the soon to be home of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, Julia trained as a concert violinist from the age of five. She also trained as a ballerina for seven years. Julia finished Arts School and received an Arts Degree as well. Julia was also very interested in her city's poetry club and decided to compete for them.
During her college years, Julia participated in Russia's popular Humor Games known as, KVN. There she showed her talents as an actress and a singer. Before she participated in Russia's Star Factory, Julia Parshuta worked as a Weather Girl on the Russian program "Weather +".
Since 2010, Julia has been a part of the team the participates in Russia's Comedy- Sketch Show "Daeosh Malodosh" Currently, Julia Parshuta is living and learning in New York City, where she is working on her music.
