Bio
Julia Set Generator is an alternative rock band, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The power pop trios music can best be compared to Descendents/ALL, Dinosaur Jr. and The Stooges.
In early 2008, Joel Archambault (guitar, vocals), Mike Birch (bass, vocals) and Andrew McNenly (drums, vocals) independently recorded and released the bands self titled debut EP.
Julia Set Generator has performed in venues ranging from barns to bars, and are currently lighting up the Toronto club circuit, watt for watt. They have been honored to be the supporting act for one of their biggest influences, Adam Franklin from Swervedriver, and have also shared the stage with Lights and Shram, to name a few.
The bands goals are to gig extensively and sell enough records so that Mike can have his cavities filled, Joel can get a new pair of Chucks and Andrew can buy his potato chips.
JSG are three diligent do-it-yourselfers. They are in the final production stages of the bands sophomore release and are hard at work, writing songs for their third recording.
