Bio

I come from a place that gives birth to home brewers and great banjo players. Born and raised in the cradle of Acadia, the valley of Memramcook. Before I was a teenager, my parents had to move my family to the city. If this would have never happened, I’d have never realized the deep roots I had already planted in the country side. Now (8 years later), my songwriting revolves around the smells, people and ways of life of my beloved valley.

Throughout my upbringing, my parents always put family first. In consequent, this means we had a lot of big family suppers where all my uncles would gather and play guitar. By the time I was 10, I knew all the oldies and country classics. Every Sunday, we went and still go to church. I gained a lot of experience from playing there. After a few years of playing guitar and songwriting for myself, I entered a French singer-songwriter contest. This led me to become a bi-lingual artist. So far, I’ve been lucky enough to play at many festivals (Frye fest, Greenfest, Festival Tremplin de Deglis, Accros de la chanson, Le Sommet de la chanson, Congres Mondial des Acadiens, etc…) and coffee shops and some recording. I embrace my grand-mothers wise words and love the feel of well worn overalls. When I write a song it mirrors exactly how I feel and look inside. This is where my folk, down to earth style comes from.

This spring I will released a long awaited EP featuring both francophone and Anglophone compositions of mine.
