Discography

In November 2010, Julie released a new song, titled "Don't Worry 'Bout Me Mama." All profits from "Don't Worry 'Bout Me Mama" downloads are being donated to Soldiers' Angels, one of the country's largest military support nonprofit organizations.

Julie is currently working on recording a full-length album expected to be released in June 2011.

Julie Kaylin Band Biography

Engaging crowds with a blend of dynamic, high-energy tunes and powerful, heartfelt country/soft rock ballads, the Julie Kaylin Band is one of the most refreshing soft rock and country bands to emerge in the Chicagoland area in quite some time. The band is comprised of some of the area’s finest musicians who have played at numerous festivals, clubs, and private parties and performed on some of the Midwest’s premier stages, such as at the Taste of Chicago and the House of Blues. The Julie Kaylin Band most recently performed at Six Flags Great America and the Frankfort Fall Festival and is currently recording an album at a state-of-the-art recording studio in the Chicago area. The band was even pictured and written about in the Studiophile column of the Illinois Entertainer magazine in November 2009.

Julie Kaylin is one of Chicagoland's premier country/pop singers and songwriters. Julie’s performances have delighted audiences wherever she has appeared, and her entertainment is well suited for any type of event. Julie has performed at over forty venues/events around the Chicago area, including Six Flags Great America, Standard Bank Stadium, Frankfort Fall Festival, Northlake Days, the Willowbrook/Burr Ridge Cruisin' Route 66 Festival, Schaumburg Concerts in the Park, St. Charles Serendipity Fest, Glendale Heights International Days Festival, and the Loyola University Museum of Art.

Blending heartfelt melodies, powerful lyrics, and elegantly polished vocals, Julie's singing and songwriting skills have been captivating audiences and garnering praise from some of the music industry's most recognized names for years. Legendary music producer Neal James has commended Julie Kaylin for her "great vocal ability" and "very unique and strong vocal combination." Additionally, Julie has been a full member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) since 2001 and is the recipient of multiple ASCAP Plus Awards for songwriters in the early stages of their careers. She has also been featured as a contestant on the online Next Big Star national talent contest sponsored by Ed McMahon and has won third place in a True Value Country Music Local Showdown in Washington County, Wisconsin.

Julie’s biggest musical influences include Crystal Gayle, B.J. Thomas, John Denver, George Strait, The Carpenters, Bing Crosby, Bread, Fleetwood Mac, and The Guess Who.
