Learning to Read and Write

Written By: Julie McAllan

Learning to Read & Write

CHORUS
Learning to read and write
Don’t say that you just might
You can use it all your life
Learning to read and write (x2)

Verse 1
At your school
And at the pool
It’s so important
To read the rules

Take a look around
Words can be found
To read them out loud
Is a wonderful sound (to chorus)

Verse 2
Booka and his mates
Know the library is great
To read a book or two
For as long as it takes

It’s good for your brain
To write your name
So get your family
To do the same (to chorus)
