"Review of show"

Juliet Echo Rocks! I later described the show to her drummer as a "stripped down power trio that plays straight forward rock". Juliet Echo was adept at power chords and powerful vocals. The best thing about the set was that it kept moving along. One song went right into the other. There was no extended guitar solos, no droning riffs that went on and on and on. Just forward "RAWK" that was solid and tight. One highlight was the last song in the set where Juliet Echo was "in the zone" and played a solo straight ahead. I was reminded of Juliana Hatfield & Tanya Donnelly. She had a solid rhythm section, a bassist who seemlessly fit in, and a drummer who kept the structures moving. - Barker's Blog

"J.E. review by Jack Little"

Jen Emma's (Juliet Echo) vocals are art like. It sounds like a poetry reading. She is able to portray aggravation and uncertainty. You would have to listen to these songs. They are about trying to find your way, what the way forward is and what reality is.

Bio

Juliet Echo rocks out with distorted guitar sounds, passionate vocals, heavy bass, and powerful drums. The songs’ subjects range from social commentaries to love all done with bitter-sweet lyrics. Juliet Echo started from the ashes of Jen Emma's all-girl mathrock band that she fronted/formed but felt limited by the non-linear song-writing. So she left the band to record a demo, "A Hard Place" in late 2005-that's when she met Rich and Nick. They recorded their first full-length album "79 rock 9 Sweet Baby" during 2007 and released it in officially in 2008 and is currently available through CD baby and Itunes.
They will be recording in late 2008.
