"Unbelievable"

Track : Unbelievable

INL Comments: The track begins with gusto and shows its progression instantly, no fussing with staccato synthetic blips and blops a quarter way into the track, which often leave you wondering where its going or if its actually going to get anywhere at all! Smoothly and steadily it glides along and when the vocals come in you can grab some essence of Madonna's and kylie's dance vocal style. The vocals have a nice layered effect and sit well in the mix, the reverb actually working here! With a bit of a remix, polish and schmoof I can see this track throbbing along perfectly at a late night dance club though I would love to hear some more experimentation on the structure of the track itself. Overall Rating: A cool vodka-in-hand-smooch-in-the-corner-of-club track! (Now how could I get a vodka, unbelievable pumping on the decks, and Juliiett in a corner at the same time? Hmmm :) - Indie News Live Reporter

"General Artist Reviews"

RICK TURNER:

Sounds Great -
The voice and vocal effects are perfect. The music is the same. There is nothing bad to say. Not only is it good, but I like it. The vocals, at times, sound like Madonna, which is a huge compliment. Keep up the good work and I hope to know when there are new songs posted.

BIGGITTA:

Great Music..nice voice !!! -
I think and believe you are doing a wonderful job...love and God bless..:)

SCARY ENTERTAINMENT:

Here's another big departure from what you've come to expect
from Scary Entertainment. Julii is an extraordinary talent from
Australia who can liven up any club with her energetic
dance/electronica sounds. Though most of her music is strictly
dance oriented, her vocals and lyrics could easily cross over to
pop. She blends a unique vocal mix, with ethereal and sometimes
"trippy" effects and beautifully awkward harmonies, over a driving
dance beat. Though most tracks are musically typical of the genre,
her experimental vocal style shines through on tracks such as
Dream of Me(original version) and What Do You See(original
version). More of that would be great, but is the mainstream pop
world ready for it? Maybe not, so she brings dance chart and radio
friendly tracks like the Falling and Am I Alone mixes. It's a shame
we don't get to hear more of the original versions and experimental
work, but she will have plenty of time to go back to that after she
has made her mark on the Billboard (which I'm sure she'll do).
Check her out at her website by clicking the banner above, and it's
recommended that you go to the Australian version of her mp3
page. There's much more variety available there.

LANCE STRONGO:

hey, i really enjoy your stuff, you have a great voice. checkout mp3.com.au/theproduct and also mp3.com.au/stevie P we do electro type pop, have a listen, u might hate it! but hopefully not!

LOVEBITES:

love this song... love the production and the lyrics as well as the vocals. Very calming and soothing song with lots of passion and i think you do just fine..... cannot wait to hear more...cheers to you.

JOHN RITE:

There's talent there:
This girl has talent -- her voice is definitely her best asset. It's seductive. And she has looks. Personally, Falling is a favourite, but overall her songs are moving in the right direction. A great melodic dance track from this girl will blow us all away. Be good to do a gig together some time.

SOULELE:

Nice Voice - Very good. I'm impressed! I like the piano, pads, and the arpeggios. But mostyl I like the voice. Kind of reminds me of Alice Deejay but not as trancy. coooooollll!

Dax (Soul Elephant)

KAT001:

Well first of I have to say your voice reminds me of madonna ... I mean no offence in that statements as I truly think she has an awesome voice !!!

The tracks include beautiful female singing ... - Rick Turner, Broggitta, Scary Entertainment, Lance Strongo, LoveBites, John Rite, Soulele, Kat001

"CTG Music Review"

First of all, at 00:28, when you layer the higher pitched vocal over the original, I got goosebumps...then again at 2:33 (more on the significance of this later :-) ).

quality Almost perfect! Although it is excellent, I would greatly appreciate a slight high end boost. Maybe run the track through a "spectralizer" type plugin...but not too much, just a tad. Otherwise the rest of the sounds in the mix are pretty much well balanced.

skills I'm impressed not only with your vocals, but with the quality of the recording. In a word, excellent!

bass I love the distorted-retro bass sound.

arrangement & structure For some reason, I find the sparseness of the overall track to be a good thing. Although some strings or pads would 'maybe' be cool, I think its fine as it is. It gives it that 80s retro feel...everything is nice and clean, with the focus on the vocals...with the singing that you do, thats the way it should be.

melody I like that stacatto arp melody that comes in on the left, but I think it's too much on the left. If there's a delay on it, maybe pan it more to the right. However, if you do that, the right will get overpowered when the echoes come in on the right - so some sort of compramise is needed.

Overall: Excellent track. It's something that will go on my playlist. I have a sense that this type of song doesn't 'float everyone's boat', so to speak...but it does mine!

I strive to give fair ratings. However, if the song makes me want share it with others and spread it around, it gets an automatic 8. If I get goosebumps the first time I hear it, automatic 9. The track would have gotten a 10 if it sounded a bit more crisper - more 'alive'.

Congrats. - XKraft

"Review from Belgium!"

- Beginnin is fast! It begins good
- Lovely voice ^^
- all u did with your voice is so good, live the effects
- the lead is quite good ^^
- the way you sing is soooooo great, in a trance song it'll kill fo sure!!
- 02.03 : Great break! i love the way you sing!
- The rest is like the beginnin :) so good!
- Ending is great :) The effect on the right is great!

OVERALL : Well, i can complain about your background : not so full, you should have added some strings or stuff, something that full that ;) It's a bit repeatitive, but the way you play with your voice it makes it good ^^ All the effects you used are greatly done Transitions aree good ^^ No major variations, pity, i'd have seen a great athmospherical break ^^

But it's very very very nice! this is the kind of music that rules some dance parties :)

Cheerz from Belgium :) - (DJ) CrazyMan

"Dream of Me - Review"

liking this track a lot, i think the intro could be a lot better though rather than kicking straight into a verse like that :)

pretty good vocals on this, nice effects although as Virgill says in some places its a little muffly - however, he's also spot on with the way that you overlayed your vocals to create a really professional sound. impressive!

musically its well written and well put together, and with a few littles tweaks here and there and the intro being developed more, this would score even higher :)

keep going, you've got talent

8 1/2 out of 10

forgot to mention - very Madonna-esque vocals (which isn't a bad thing!) but i can definately hear your influence :D

Hmmm. I'm in no way a fan of techno, house or any other dance music, (except salsa and most other rhythmic latin styles which I love), but I have to say that you are good at what you do.

Your vocals are tight, and just right in tone and range for this style of music.

PABS

All I can say is keep it up and look into experimenting and maybe bringing other "exotic" elements into your sound. It's important that you remain open minded and that you allow your music to evolve. EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS!!

Keep rock'n (or hous'n in this case) :) - dr3amz, Pabs

"Together - Review"

Well my one year old usually plays with his little firetruck while and ignores all the music coming from my PC, but suddenly he gets up and stands in front of the PC when this song begins. So he likes it! So you get an 8.0 from him ;)

Well, as for me... I have almost the same reaction... I really like this song. Its pleasant and catchy, and your voice is like heaven. God I love when you sing "you will know me"... very nice voice technique. Its recorded in great quality, sounds very pro.

The pads sound wonderful behind you... I love the way they start out. The piano is nice, and the rest is kind of standard.... the music itself is not very original, but its very damn nice.... the thing that really sets it off is the great vocals and nice melodies and harmonies... you done 100% perfect job.. I am captivated. This kind of brings me back to the Donna Lewis sound which I really like.

Well usually in these reviews I try to tear apart everything I possibly can... lol but there isnt much to complain about here except the EQ on the vocals and the slightly unoriginal cheesy dance sound. Wonderful wonderful work. You get a 8.0 from me as well. Great work... keep it coming! - Obscene

"Because of You Review"

Hi, here is my contribute :D

Finally, I found an easy and enjoyble dance track, lovely music and sweet harmony... If you looking 4 something to relax yourself, download this track...now! :D

structure

The structure of this track is really simple, lovely strings on the ground and good voice until 1:22 when a synth give the rhythm. The voice has some effect, typically dance, a bit dated ;)
All the things are flat and linear, but nothing to criticize about it, this is your way...

feeling

The feeling are the best point here, lovely melody, sweet, pink, a SHOJO song ;)
- Dreawlk

"Falling Reviews"

CrazyMan:

- Good beginnin and great low beat
- Samples are huge ^^
- Transition is perfect
- Love your bass :) especially this one, on the left
- Break! Great athmospheric mood
- I love the effect on your voice
- The wispered voices are sooo good :)
- The chords are well variated, nothing to say
- 2nd break : so great
- Transition : perfect, darker mood
- What i should have seen is a tierce upper applied on your voice ^^ it would have decrease the repetitivness of your track
- Great Ending :)

OVERALL : A great track well served by quality samples and good effects for sure. But it laxx in second themes and some background strings, dynamics i mean too :) But the beat, chords and stuff are soooo great. A 9 ("Great!", isn't it?) for you, you deserve it :)

LUCIPHER (Andy):

Hey!

I must say I'm impressed. This was one of the best songs I've heard here on CTG! I can easily see this be played on the radio.

Drums are fantastic for this genre. They made me wanna dance all the time :D I guess I would have made some small adjustments here and there, but overall they work for me.

I liked the beginning a lot. I love filtered drums!!! And that raspy sound going on fits perfect in the song!

Great work!
Andy

Rating: (9.0)

DJ EA:
