"Review of Juneau CD"

(as translated from Dutch to English)

With "Pretending" get we a song that already is part of my own "All Favorites" CD.

On track two from this CD pearl, the pedal steel cries so sublimely beautiful on "Cold Winter Rain," and here we get our first acquaintance of the harmonious blending of Laurie, Anthony and Patrick Juneau.

A diverse work, from the ragtime country/bluesy feeling "Galveston Bay", to the glittering "My Prince, Turned Out to Be a Cowboy" with such beautiful fiddle/mandolin work -- to the pure blues of “Wishful Thinking.” Country swing is held true on "I'm Falling to You,” -- it has almost perfect Americana feel…

With the talent to create such works as “Dreadfully Wrong,” where the sax is so true, to "Out Of My Heart" and the terribly heartrending and beautiful "The Pain,” this is a CD of eleven amazing original songs of more than 37 minutes that proved to our ears -- it cannot be made any clearer -- you just can' t beat that sibling harmony…

Bio

"He's a soy-guzzlin', tree-huggin' lactose-intolerant son of a ... Soymilk Cowboy..." With a little humor here, and a little humor there... From all across Texas to Colorado to California, the trio and solo singer/songwriters have played venues from funky coffee houses, to rock clubs, to country dance halls -- and Churches. With a large catalog of original material from humorous novelty songs, to alternative country, rock, folk, blues and pure Texas swing -- the lead vocals in the trio are passed from Laurie, to Anthony, to Patrick and back again -- all in chill-producing three-part harmony -- and ya know ya can't beat that SIBLING HARMONY.
