Born in 1982 as a Military Brat in El Paso, Texas to mother; native of Seoul Korea and father from West Virginia. June soon moved to Hollywood with his parents at the young age of two. By the time June was five years old his due to his unwillingness to adapt to the big city Junes father moved them back to Oak Hills West Virginia. The fascination of the city grew even thicker in his mind, yet his father missed the country so back to West Virginia he they went.
June turned to poetry and music during the Michael Jackson era. This was his escape, his way of venting and staying off the streets. As time went on June and some local friends formed a group, this was the era of New Edition and Boyz II Men. He also began to sing in the church. June always had a problem with being bold in front of the crowd but deep down inside there was an amazing swagger. After becoming popular in sports and more popular with the ladies it helped to bring that side out. He tried college for a year but it didn't work out so he joined the military. He began his journey. The Military forces you to find the true self. “There’s a lot of time to yourself”, says June so you either get into trouble or become a man. The troubled road was the first road he took but being from a strong Christian background God wouldn't let go.
A true singer will find a way to sing no matter what. So in 2002 he moved to the DMV better known as the DC area. Seeing the site of opportunity for people of color seemed endless. This gave him hope in all areas of life. He always remembered to keep God first. Now residing in the DC area for almost seven years and still active in the United States Air force, he has found his home. In this road to success he has met many people in the industry that believe in his talent. His writing has became extraordinary. While meeting Mentors that were in the game like Producer Big Trez working along side him taught him the business aspect and the chance to meet highly influential artists such as Raheem DeVaughn, and Ginuwine.
Ultimately his goal is to not only become an artist but have longevity and be one the best writers in the music industries. A true liaison of old R&B and today’s pop while eventually owning his own label of producers and writers .
