Jungle Maps

Having come from two different musical backgrounds and bands, as musicians we challenge each other to create a unique voice. Through many musical encounters with other talented musicians testing different avenues of musical expression, we decided to keep this project a duo thus forming Jungle Maps. We decided our limitation in instrumentation became our creative inspiration. We are our own greatest influence, however we also like these bands and artists: Akron/Family, Battles, Bjork, Brian Eno, Don Cab, Faust, Murcof, Fugazi, Ali Farka Toure', My Bloody Valentine, Bowie, Pj Harvey, Radiohead, Talking Heads, Squarepusher, Pavement, Steven Malkmus and the Jicks, Sigur Ros', .... and many others...
