Bio
Junia began as the pet project of noted philanthropist and child actor Joshua M Christmas. Seeking to realize his life long dream of creating a network of interconnected computers thru which information could be transmitted worldwide, he set to work in earnest. When the paint dried, he had in fact assembled a tactical assault squad consisting of himself and artillery expert Seany Francis McGuire.
Seeing the need for a bassist, the duo orchestrated one of the most controversial trades to date- sending beloved shortstop Nomar Garciaparra to the Chicago Cubs for Columbian Revolutionary Brandon Taylor Rainville. The results were staggering.
With their tumultuous early years behind them and statute of limitations finally expired, Junia now looks to the future. Embracing punk as a philosophy rather than a genre, the trio is willing to play any venue any time. They create music without boundaries in a world with plenty of them; in this sense, they truly are self important and delusional.
