Junior Owusu

Junior was born in September 1986 in the city of Accra, Ghana. After growing up in Ghana, Junior’s father sent him to Germany in order to enable him a better education and a better future.
Not knowing the German language and not having as much friends, Junior spent a lot of time studying the songs and videos of his idol Michael Jackson. In fact the King of Pop had an enormous influence on Junior and his development as an artist. Later R ´n`B artist like Dru Hill, Usher, Ginuwine, Shai, Boys II Men, Tyrese and many more inspired him to create his own unique style. Thus Junior not just learn to sing, but also developed a individual smooth way to dance.
It did not take long and Junior got recognized by different producers. By the age of 17 he signed his first deal with a producers who already worked with Kci &Jojo, Ice T and Hathaway. Unfortunately this relationship did not bear fruits.
Due to some essential differences Junior decided to leave his producer. This was a heavy drawback for the young singer, but he didn’t give up. He put all his energy in new music and performances at graduation parties, birthdays and different talent shows, where he kept winning.

This sense of achievements gave Junior the strength to keep doing his thing and staying true to himself. Step by step Junior build up a network of producers, video directors, dancers and actors he is now working with. Having created a small fan base and a good team around him, Junior is now ready to take over the music scene. With his fresh and smooth style he catches more and more attention and it is just a matter of time till Junior will take over the charts.
Juniors debut Album, was released in October 2012 and its called “The Art of Love” with his first own album he fulfilled one of his biggest dreams. But there is more to come currently Junior is working on his second studio album which will be released late 2013.
