Bio
Since forming in 2001, Junk Ditch Road continues growing a faithful following resulting from successful shows in the Phoenix metro area. JDR's sound is an indefinable mix of rock, blues, bluegrass, and country.
Junk Ditch Road enjoys playing an improvisational, anything goes, performance that allows each member to showcase their individual strengths and influences while maintaining a blend of acoustic and electric styles that makes up the unique Junk Ditch Road sound.
JDR has spent the last 10 years refining a desert bluegrass influenced sound that pulls creative influence from many genres and musical styles. From Townes Van Zant to Pink Floyd, from the Grateful Dead to the Ramones, from Johnny Cash to AC/DC, the vibe of the music is as diverse as the bands that influences the members.
