Juno Vega is a rock quartet with true passion for writing rock music, and performing high-energy live shows. Forming the band are Dave (guitar), Kristie (bass), Joe (drums), and N8 (vocals).
Based in Pittsburgh, PA, Juno Vega was officially formed in 2006 with the addition of a new lead singer, N8. Before N8 signed on with the other 3 members, the band recorded 30 original songs, and played at 200+ live shows over a 6-year period. With the addition of outstanding vocals by N8, the stars seem aligned. Together, over the first year they were inspired to write and record 10 new songs, songs to be included on their debut album (to be released in 2007).
As a team, Juno Vega has similar influences, most of which are the best of rock, funk, metal, and jazz... either individual artists or world-class bands. Also, Juno Vega has influences that differ from member to member, perhaps being one of the factors that makes their sound idealistic and diverse. Juno Vega's music spans the rock genre, and might best be described as "New School Rock & Roll" with original sounds that break the mold. Juno Vega's writing style combines written ideas pulled from deep & misterious places, plus a bit of free-flow jamming. You never know what to expect when playing any new song of theirs for the first time... and they believe, this is what true fans of rock are looking for.
Juno Vega is working hard on debut album art, and on ways to get their new sound out to rock fans everywhere prior to the release of their debut album: 'Surreal Thrill'. The band is also working hard on scheduling live show bookings, preparing for touring & playing at large festivals & concerts... not to mention countless hours promoting new music online, on the streets... wherever new fans can be found.
Juno Vega's mission is to release several back-to-back albums packed with great rock songs, and to deliver it live for the enjoyment of all fans.
