Jupiter Muke is the live band and alias of John Hoare, a composer, producer and trumpeter, working out of London, UK. John's trumpet playing has taken him around the world working in jazz, pop and classical spheres. He has toured and recorded with Jamie Cullum, Roisin Murphy, Shirley Bassey, Super Furry Animals, Ilya and Duke Special. He was also principle trumpet with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain performing extensively at the highest level. He also composes and produces the Jupiter Muke music and recently also produced and co-wrote an album for Candid Records artist Mishka Adams ("Space" 2007).
About Jupiter Muke's music: Each composition is a complete story unto itself. JM's inspiration comes diverse influences within jazz, film, rock and world musics and he builds compositions that create strong moods, paint vivid pictures against the backdrop of jazzy beats.
