The foundation of JurisFiction is based off of raw, distorted (hard rock)guitar chords with groovy bass and drum rhythms. The lyrics and vocals surrounding the music relate to the feel good, party all night, rockin' tunes, but also relate to the trials and tribulations of one's life, addiction, relationships, and other emotional life circumstances. The composition and writing itself are sparked off of feeling by Chris and the other band mates. Similar bands that JurisFiction finds itself to be influenced by are: Guns n' Roses, Silver Chair, and Led Zeppelin. Their first demo released in 2010 "Out Of Time" turned many heads around in Harrisburg, giving them a by-monthly house gig at the downtown Gingerbread Man Bar and Grille. As the months pass, more fans come out to see JurisFiction, and more CDs are given out. The band's goal is to give the people what was or considered a dead genre of music--classic hard rock n' roll. They will stop at nothing to get their foot in the door, nor cease to spread new material to the public.

Since May of 2010, and the release of their first Demo "Out Of Time", JurisFiction has played the top venues in the Harrisburg Area including Dragonfly, the Gingerbread Man, and Johnny Joe's. They have played Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, Club One in Baltimore, and the Growler in Gaithersburg. After nine months of being together, JurisFiction will be playing for Millennium music conference on February 18th, opening up for Candlelight Red. JurisFiction shows are generally well attended, with a young and energized audience. With the combination of rockin tunes and heart aching ballads, this band will definitely knock your socks off.
