JusBam

In 2005 she is launched her own record label, Love is Life Entertainment.  But just finished recording her first solo album "WhoIam".  It's a look at who Bam is as an artist, and a person.  By  promoting her project she can show the industry who she is as business woman. With soulful and conscious lyrics bringing new life to rap music.

JusBam was selected to participate in the MTV Documentary Series “True Life”. MTV True Life ‘I’m a Battle Rapper”’ documented the life of three freestyle rapper form different part of the US. The main feature of the project was the Rap Olympic Competition held in Cleveland, Ohio. JusBam shined as a freestyle artist in the competition by making history becoming the first female to ever make a Rap Olympic team, and then dominated the event by finishing 4th out of 20 emcees from all over the US. The entire experience debuted on MTV. Still running in syndication True Life elevated Bam’s career and showcased her skills to millions of viewers.

JusBam has headlined numerous venues featuring hip-hop music and spoken word throughout the eastern region.  Currently living in Nashville, TN, JusBam showcased her talents as a rap artist and poet performing in several music conferences and local tours.

Originally from DC, JusBam burst on to DC’s underground hip-hop scene when she competed in "Gruellia Grammar", the largest emcee battle competition held in the area. She became the first female to qualify to the finals then went on to win it the next year.

Her performance in the Gruellia Grammar landed her a writer position at Streetz Magazine, a local urban publication. She accepted the challenge and excelled quickly with the young magazine. She has conducted one-on-one interviews with several mainstream artists such as Big Daddy Kane, Mob Deep, Devin the Dude, and many more. She elevated her status amongst her peers in the industry as Senior Editor.

Love is Life Entertainment release its first complication album “Da Committee” in 2005.  Bam jumped right in by collecting the tightest assembly of artist.  Da Committee dominated the underground hip-hop scene with three hit singles, features in several magazines, and many Web-TV appearances. Da Committee has performed in front of packed crowds when they were the opening acts for national artists; 8Ball & MJG, Juvenile, and Bones thugs in Harmony.

JusBams soulful and conscious lyrics bring life to hip-hop. Her creativity shines in her rap and spoken word performances. JusBam enhances her stage presence with a charisma and charm. Her live show is polished and energetic.
