One of the most dynamic and captivating hip-hop/Urban/Contemporary Christian gospel groups of our time. They reside in the Savannah GA area. Their sound is unique and soulfully distinctive. They have a Commissioned/Jagged Edge feel with soulful uplifting ballads, and club banging tracks to move all ages. Formally know as Inner-Faith, the group received a revelation from GOD to enter a new season and changed their name. The members are Torijuano k. Harris, and Terrance (“T Weezy”) Pinkney. The group’s legacy date back at least 12 years and is still going strong today. They are all songwriter. T-weezy is the noted music producer, and vocal arranger for the group and handle all production for True Covenant’s Studio/Production Company. The group has performed all over the world, opened concerts, and worked with various artist and companies in the business some to include Vickie Winans, John P. Kee, Witness, Dawkin & Dawkins, Hezekiah Walker, Tri-ni-tee 5/7, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Duranice Pace, Douglass Miller, Men of Standard, Phase 2, Kenoly Brothers and the list goes on and on. Member “T” has produced songs for Gospel duo The Kenoly Brothers, Ron Kenoly jr’s solo album, and is also a music director for Gospel artist Dr. Ron Kenoly.
In 1994, the group won the 6th annual Apollo showdown competition held at the Albany Civic Center. T wrote the theme song and produced the score for the magic marc show. “T” was responsible for writing the song that gave them the win entitled “He’ll make a way”. The group has recorded 7 albums 1. “Gotta 2. Get My Praise On”, 3.Unconditional Love”, 4. “I Need U”, and 5. “No Doubt” and is currently finishing their fifth CD to be released March 2005. The group has shot 2 music videos, first No other Love 2003 and “No doubt” October 2004. The group has released a 6 song CD promotional in 2005. They have just completed two new albums for 2006 one CD entitled (#6. CAUGHT-UP) and (#7.THE J.C. Movement) hitting stores and radios stations soon. The group has had local and national radio play and concert promotions.
Their message is compellingly heartfelt and full of life. They minister real life experiences and arrange tear jerking melodies and lyrics that will have you humming, crying, laughing, singing, and tapping your feet nonstop. This is a must see group and definitely a group to be heard.
