"Just Juice - Driven via The DJ Booth"

Some emcees have all the talent in the world, but if they don’t have the heart, they are not going to get far. Lucky for us, Just Juice has both the talent and work ethic to make it to the top. You can tell he is Driven to succeed because his latest release, an exclusive world premiere, is his second feature in as many months; some rappers go years before following up their Booth debut. Unlike For the People, this cut does not feature production from Statik Selektah, showing that Juice doesn’t need a legendary producer to support him. Besides, it’s not as if C-Sick‘s instrumental is chopped liver; the producer does a great job of creating a headnodic beat with just a touch of airiness. Juice’s surgical flow drips with passion, making his ambitious, big-dreaming lyrics seem all the more authentic. There is no news on anything larger from this Beantown up-and-comer, but we’ll keep you posted on his plans as further details emerge. - The DJ Booth

"Just Juice - Coolin' via The DJ Booth"

Although it may not feel like it yet, summer is just around the corner with its unforgiving heat waves. But there is at least one person that won’t be phased when the temperatures reach triple digits. That person is Just Juice. On the DJBooth premiere of his new single, Coolin, the 19-year-old Boston emcee raps like a veteran from the South over the soulful production stylings of C-Sick. The ease he shows when switching up flows mid sentence shows control beyond his age. Whether it’s stepping to the devil on the last dance or hotboxing the drop top, Just Juice knows how to maintain his cool. The unsigned artist hasn’t yet placed Coolin on a larger body of work, but you can enjoy his last Booth feature, Driven, until he does. - The DJ Booth

"Just Juice - 40s & Shorties via The DJ Booth"

What’s Monday morning without a little juice? Not orange juice—though that is delicious. I’m talking about the mellow, breezy sounds of Just Juice. Last seen trying to beat the heat on early May’s reader-approved Coolin’, the 19-year-old Boston repper returns with another summer banger—and this one happens to be an exclusive world premiere. On 40s & Shorties, Black Diamond‘s lack-back sample work accompanies the emcee as he spits engaging verses dedicated to two of his favorite things in the whole damn world. This record isn’t attached to a larger project, but those digging it can hear more on Juice’s most recent mixtape, For the People. - The DJ Booth

"Just Juice - For The People via Word Is Bond"

Boston MA emcee Just Juice is preparing his debut For The People and has hooked up with uber producer Statik Selektah for a solid single. The title track showcases Just Juice’s profound lyrics and ferocious flow and I need not speak on Statik Selektah’s energetic backdrop.

Hit the play button and hear the truth through your speakers! - Word Is Bond

"Just Juice - For The People via The DJ Booth"

Just Juice may be a newcomer to our pages, but any friend of Statik Selektah is a friend of the Booth. Especially a friend of Statik who chooses to introduce himself with an exclusive world premiere. A joint promo cut dedicated to dreamers everywhere, For the People finds the Boston rhymesayer chronicling his hustle in fast-paced verses liberally laced with internal rhyme. To match his colleague’s exuberant performance on the mic, Selektah crafts a beat that practically drips with positive energy, layering vibrant soul samples over a leisurely break and tying it all together with some old-school cuts. Like what you’re hearing? You’ll be able to find For the People and much more on Juice’s street album of the same name, dropping digitally March 11. - The DJ Booth

"Just Juice - Heart of Steel via Fresh New Tracks"

Some of you may remember Just Juice from the feature back on Fresh New Tracks a few months ago. Having undergone a name change to ‘Just Juice’ and done some serious maturing, it’s evident that the young man’s music has come a long way. “Heart of Steel” is the leading single off of his upcoming mixtape and really showcases what the Boston native has in store.

“Heart of Steel” features a well produced old-school instrumental from Ceej and Just Juice’s signature delivery. Juice has promised to give listeners “just [him], none of the other additives or bullshit, just juice straight from the heart and soul.” So be sure to check out the song below, grab the free download and stay up to date if you’re digging the sound! - Fresh New Tracks

"Just Juice - It's Like That via Fresh New Tracks"

It seems like the new sound is the old sound. People are fiend-ing for that old-school hip-hop, and Juice is the dealer. His newest release “It’s Like That” is fully equip with vinyl scratches, 90′s drum kit, and of course a seamless delivery. Juice has been busy this summer before heading back off to school in the fall, so hopefully we’ll be getting some new music very soon!

Be on the look out for Juice to team back up with his brother and long-time rapping partner, Mojo, in the near future as well. Enjoy, and scoop up the free download. It’s like that y’all. - Fresh New Tracks

"Just Juice f. Logic - Lavish"

If EDM is the future of Hip Hop then here is a good example of what it may sound like.

Tron may of not had any rappers on it’s soundtrack, but this could’ve easily of been on the movie’s sound selection. The EDM sound in the background isn’t too prominent so it’s easy to forget that it’s there, especially once the bass hits. Logic lends his voice to the C-Sick produced track which can be found on Just Juice’s mixtape, For The People. - HipHopDX

"Just Juice - "Catch Me""

After debuting on our pages late last year with the Statik Selektah-produced "Knowledge," Boston emcee Just Juice has since teamed with Dizzy Wright for "Show Love" and let 2DBZ premiere "Lavish" featuring Logic. Now, with his second free album on the way, Juice links with Chicago producer C-Sick for the fast-paced "Catch Me." - 2DopeBoyz

"Civil Selects: Just Juice - "Lavish Life""

Last but not least is rising Boston emcee Just Juice recently released his new free project, Lavish Life. The 12-track body of work includes production from such heavy hitters as C-Sick, 6ix and Dream Life, along with features from Logic, Dizzy Wright, Hi-Rez and more - Karen Civil
