The band Justice the Enemy began when artist’s John Ensey, and Michael Davis (friends from junior-high school orchestra in Tucson, Arizona) began a partnership called DE Productions, (Davis/Ensey). The two talented minds went to work on a variety of projects including film, games, and of course music. The band went through numerous names as well as band members before finally arriving at the three-piece complexion with drummer Christopher Hale, a friend made later in high school orchestra. The three classically trained musicians share the same desire in moving people through the sonic art form, creating music for unsatisfied souls, and playing live with the same high energy expected from such music. The band writes music to provoke a political and religious or otherwise emotional response. Justice the Enemy’s presence is a draw of curiosity and passion, and their music, the vehicle for their vision of understanding.
