Justin Badger

Justin Badger started his venture into music by fronting a six piece ska-band by the name of Stir Fry in Santa Barbara. With heavy influences from bands like Less than Jake, NoFx, Face to Face, the Mad Caddies, and Pennywise (to name a few) it seems unlikely that acoustic rock is the musical genre that he writes for. Amidst the college atmosphere of UC Santa Barbara Justin was introduced to a barrage of singer/songwrites such as Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Elliot Smith, Iron and Wine, and Jeff Buckley. Justin writes about life situations with a somewhat cynical eye. Keeping in mind that taking things, like love, too seriously is a surefire way to destroy it. His live show brings all the energy of his days infront of the punk band, and puts it on a stool with an acoustic guitar. Not "reined-in" but transformed into different kind of energy and performance.
