The best kept secret in music

"Raw uncomprimising passion. The loudness, aggression that the Rolling Stones began...sensuality that began with Jim Morrison... on through to Iggy Pop." - Ian Morey
Former singer with Shine, Justin Bird has crafted a fine pop/soul debut. He starts off nicely with a sure-fire pop hit 'Not So Jaded' driven by the mandolin of Dan Curtis (Luther Wright & the Wrongs), and from there moves through mid-tempo soul numbers, folk songs and even unlikely shades of Echo & the Bunnymen. Bird belongs to the Danny Michael/Luke Doucet school of precise punctuation. - Michael Barclay
"he is an awsome singer/musician, kind of Bowie-esque. I totally recommend going to see him. He is the real deal!" - Sarah Harmer
"...soar o'er the moon rock..." - Karen Bliss
"His vocals moved from sweet crooning one minute to primal howls the next. The audience definately gets their money's worth." - Philip A. Mcbride

Bio
Finding inspiration during home renovations, Justin Bird (singer/songwriter) always forms a band with specific intentions. None.
Influenced by Bowie, Babs, and boozy afternoons with the boys. Justin loves to poke his musical branding iron on the ever-fickle ass of today's music industry. The results are an unbelievable mixture of classic glam-noir romps, achingly beautiful moon rock, and the more dissonant and unsavory tones of jazz.
Justin's astrology charts are done weekly to determine when to perform, when to release records, and when to return to earth to the drudgery of everyday living. Thank you for listening. Good people.
