I Believe

Written By: Justin Brandom

I tripped and tumbled into your arms
Then I fell aside, into open space
That's when I knew that I loved you - I believe

That's when I started to fly
Looked down from above
Saw the signs of love
And I knew that I loved you - I Believe

chorus:

I'm on top of the world, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you
I'm in over my head, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you

I kept on fighting, tried to escape
Then I opened up and saw my mistake
Well, that's how I got started on love again

That's when I pulled my head from the sand
Took a second look at my life-long plan
That's when I knew that I loved you - I believe

I'm on top of the world, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you
I'm in over my head, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you

I'm on top of the world, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you
I'm in over my head, looking down
Oh look at me, looking down on you

Radio Television

Written By: Justin Brandom

Radio, television or an alien incision
I've been living in the stars, I got bored of Mars so I left there
Now I wallow in relief astride the bending branch of a tree
Please don't follow me, I'm wrecked beyond belief
I'm sitting in disbelief astride a Harley D

It's a race against crime
With no conscience for our minds
It works for me, kind of superficially
Then banking off my thoughts relieve some of that misery

All my clothes don't suit the best
A slow constriction disturbs my rest
I've been living in the clouds, that's where I made some vows on my mission
Radio television oh I changed my mind, got a stereo system
Offer me some pleasantry, give me back my old TV
I spin round and fall when I sight blood that's spilt for all

I was on my way to somewhere better
I was on my way to somewhere better
I was on my way to somewhere better
I was on my way to somewhere better

When the cat cries half past five I check my boosters, see I'm alive
My body clock is not my own, it needs laying down in stone Cementing hands in the past, before it gathers dust too fast
See the stars are all mapped now
I'll make a prick and catch you out
I just slide from moon to moon My desire to be there soon as I can
Soon as I can
Soon as I can

I was on my way to somewhere better (x 8)

See the stars are all mapped now
I'll make a prick and catch you out
I just slide from moon to moon
My desire to be there soon as I can
Soon as I can
Soon as I can
Soon as I can

Rainbows Rain

Written By: Justin Brandom

It's not as bright as I like it, through a rainbow's rain

I got straight out of my bed, it was a sunny blue Sunday morning
Slipped on my shirt, landed on the floor
That's when I thought about how I flew the night before
I could see their crowns from the air, with a serious stare

Through a rainbow's rain

Cloudy grey green tree-top day say it isn't raining
Was something she said, in her sleep, she's talking in her sleep
A rented room and a tiger-skin in to boot
I was living somehow day to day
In a serious way

Through a rainbow's rain
Ooh, don't rain on me
Give me some rays, give me summer rays

Caught up among and between
Seduction and a dream
Blow in my system, I'm rising from my knees
That's when I thought about how I flew the night before
I could see their crowns from the air, with a serious stare

Through a rainbow's rain
Ooh don't rain on me
Give me some rays
Give me some rays

It's not as bright as I'd like it through a rainbow's rain
Not as bright, not as bright
Not as bright, not as bright any more - yeah
Not as bright, not as bright
Not as bright, not as bright any more - yeah

It's not as bright as I'd like it through a rainbow's rain
It's not as bright as I'd like it through a rainbow's rain

Not as bright, not as bright.....

As I Wake

Written By: Justin Brandom

As I wake each day
Looking out, I say
I just want to be happy
Reaching out I try

Something to go for
Someone to be with

Crumbling effigy erroding tide
Take me away to where Joe lay
A man in a black coat is following me around
Picking up pieces one at a time

Watch the TV screen
Seeing mutilation
Put on something happy
Put on Harry Hill
Something to laugh at
Someone to be with

A man in a black coat is following me around
Picking up pieces one at a time
Crumbling effigy erroding tide
Take me away to Joe lay

Eternal Grace

Written By: Justin Brandom

It couldn't be how you wanted it to be
It couldn't be what we wanted for you
My pain at your goodbye is not strange
For your life inspired change

Giving all, all giving with love
Giving all, all hearing with love
Screaming, aching, joyful crying
Beautiful comfort in your voice

Seems to me, 'Lilac' suited you so well
Seemed to be, so unfair at the end
Sometimes I can be blind and have no faith
You played out your life, have eternal grace

Giving all, all giving with love
Giving all, all hearing with love
Screaming, aching, joyful crying
Beautiful comfort in your voice

It couldn't be how you wanted it to be
It couldn't be what we wanted for you
