"That's refreshing!"

"This artist caught me by suprise; when I was on facebook one day he requested me as a friend and I asked him if I knew him, and that went back and forth... - long story short I didn't know him but I listened to his music and I liked it so much that I'm about to play it for you. When I heard it, I was hooked in and when it was over I said, hmm..., that's refreshing. This is a new artist from the United States, based out of New York, this is Justin Conway, Leaving Town." - Ian Trum - (UK radio)

Bio

Justin Conway was recently garnered an Honorable Mention in the 17th Annual World Song Contest for his song "Leaving Town"!

Justin Conway is a solo artist out of Queens, New York who writes and records original Rock Alternative music. His live shows consist of a three piece band with Adriane Palikat on drums. Justin recently finish recording his debut E.P. entitled "Falling Up" set to be released in October of 2010. The album was recorded at Vudu Studio with the help of Mike Watts, Steve Haigler, Brad Franklin, and Scott Justynowicz. The release will be followed by a string of shows in support of the album.

What started as a solo acoustic music movement in New York, quickly evolved to a full rock band establishment in early 2008. In the first few months Justin Conway was booked into some of New Yorks best venues, played to sellout crowds, and began taking trips out of the state. He has been mentioned on radio waves from here to Servia (yes the country!). Justin Conway writes infectious grooves that are a mix of hook driven rock songs and lyric driven acoustics. With songs like "Leaving Town", it's hard to forget a chorus.
