Justine Vickery

A little bit about Justine:

Well I don’t really know, oh yes I do. I will tell you this, “I love music, and I love to laugh and make people laugh.” I strongly believe it is part of my soul.

How you got started playing and why you continue to play?

I've been singing since I was a kid and have always loved music and admired the people who do it well. Some of my family members are also musicians, I've been around artists all of my life.

Justine’s Musical goals:

I would love to, as most people I'm sure, have a career doing what I love doing... specifically music. I love writing and performing in front of people. I would love to have my own recording studio, because then I could write to my hearts content and not have to look at a clock… if I don't want to.

Tell us about your Instruments:

I have an acoustic guitar and a number of harmonicas.

What other gear do you use?

Right now, I am recording on my PC using E-magic Logic Audio. I'm a quick study and have only recently been doing this. I am sure my skills will improve with time and with more use of the software.

What's your level of play?

Mostly I am a vocalist and I use the guitar primarily as a writing instrument. I have a good ear and a good sense of melody but I would hardly say I was a solo instrument player. You never know, maybe one day!
