Justin France and The Select Few

Justin France is a singer/songwriter from Wichita Kansas. He began playing solo acoustic gigs in 2008 all around Wichita. Playing any show he could get from open mics to coffeeshops.
In 2009 he ran into his old friends Waylon Pearson and Kyle Campbell whom he had played with 12 years before. they were looking to be in a band and Justin was looking to start another band. It took them a year and a half to finally end up in the same room to play but when it happened they knew they were ready to seriously chase after the dream they had all held onto for so long. Justin and Waylon went into the studio in late November 2010 to record the first Select Few album after being signed to Hartke Records in Wichita Kansas. It took them four days in Greenjeans Studio in Wellington Kansas to walk out with an album they are really proud of.

"It was one of the proudest moments of my life walking out of the studio with the master copy" said Justin France

After the album was done they went in search for a bassist. This led Justin to ask his friend of about four years Greg Ewing, a fellow songwriter, to step in. He agreed and the Select Few was formed. They are looking forward to all the opportunities that 2011 can bring.
