Bio
Justin Martin started acting at age seven in the drama department in his church Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, GA and hasn't stopped since. His television work launched with national commercials for Mercedes Benz, Bounty Paper Towels, Advair, Coke, Sunny Delight and Shoney's. His tv credits include, "The Bernie Mac Show", "Malcolm in the Middle", "Judging Amy", "Drake and Josh," and "Cold Case", where he received a Young Artists Nomination for Best Actor in a Guest Star Role.
Justin also appeared in “The Wiz” for two consecutive seasons with True Colors Theater Company for director Kenny Leon.
In 2005 Justin was invited to New York to audition for the role of Young Simba in the Broadway production of "The Lion King." Out of thousands of other young contenders, he became the new star of the biggest show on Broadway. He made his Broadway debut in March 2006 and continued in that role for two years, making him one of the two longest running young actors in the role of Young Simba. While on Broadway, Justin was cast in the role of Travis in ABC's television movie adaptation of Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun”, staring opposite Phylicia Rashad and Sean “P.Diddy” Combs and later went on to win an NAACP Image Award for that role. Justin has starred in Sony Dreamworks, “The Soloist” opposite Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and Robert Downy Jr. He has stared opposite Dennis Quaid, Rob Brown and Charles Dutton in the Universal Pictures biopic "The Express," and has starred opposite Lawrence Fishburne, in "Black Water Transit”. After a worldwide search Justin was cast in the coveted role of Donnie Dion in High School Musical 3 and just this week he was cast in the film “96 Minutes”, filming right here in Atlanta, GA.
Justin put out his first mixtape this past summer 2012, entitled "Brain Food." He is also working on his first album and is looking forward to a long career as a singer, rapper and producer.
