Bio
Driven by God's hand working in some of the toughest moments and life situations anyone could face, all of the songs on this first project "From Darkness To Light" come from the victory that God gave my wife and I in the first two years of our marriage. Growing up with music and listening to several different sounds and artists throughout my life there are many influences, no doubt more than I can even think of, who have helped to make me the artist I am. Individuals and bands, in no specific order, like Vertical Horizon, Coldplay, Tonic, U2, Dave Matthews Band, Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong United, Tim Hughes, Todd Fields, Steve Fee, Shane and Shane, Sarah McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Linkin Park, Lifehouse, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, John Mayer, Delirious?, Gavin DeGraw, Frou Frou, Damien Rice and many many others have all influenced me recently as well as when I was growing up.
Being a worship pastor there is nothing more important or gratifying than seeing people driven to a deeper understanding and relationship with their Creator, Savior, and Helper. God has proved strong and faithful in my life through many struggles and joys. Therefore, the songs He continues to give me and bless me with tell of those qualities in His story. Centered on scriptural truths and life experiences the songs He's given me continue to resonate with many. At 24 years old, I know I have many more years to grow and look forward to seeing this story/journey develop.
The guys I'm now able to lead with are all amazing guys. Even though, "From Darkness To Light" was really a separate, solo project I don't want to do anything apart from these guys. I feel like God's beginning something here with all of us.
