Justin Waves

Heavily influenced by the underground dance music scene of San Francisco, Justin spent nearly 14 years producing a wide variety of genres before discovering his sound in 2019. Best described as Melodic Techno, Justin utilizes analog synths and live instruments, merging his composers ear for melody with the gritty pulse of modern club music. The result is a distinct sound, a fresh take on the genre that would please even the most selective of Techno fans. 

His DJ mixes tastefully wave (if you will) between lighter melody-driven works (IE Yotto, Township Rebellion, Boris Brejcha) and the heavier, more purist realms of Techno music (IE Julien Jeweil, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati). Depending on the set and setting, some deep house may come out of his USB.

Justin has most recently been seen providing a Mobile Silent Disco experience at music festivals including Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Northern Nights and Dirtybird Campout, as well as an all-original Live set performed at Outside Lands in SF. His experience behind the decks runs deep as he has helped form dance events in San Francisco for the past decade, performing alongside countless big name acts and winning 1st place in two remix competitions. With an unbending focus on his craft and dedication to soundtracking some of your most memorable nights, you are bound to see this talented artist make waves in the global dance music community.
