""Just Jill - Just Rocks""

"Just Jill is an amazingly refreshing slap in the face of fakeness. REAL people, who are REAL friends, who REALLY enjoy playing their own music (that they really wrote themselves), and most of all, REALLY care about their fans. Oh, yeah, and they're REALLY talented too!"

"Do yourself a favor, and join me at their next show."

--Dino Mangano (The Record - May 2006) - THE RECORD - Detroit Michigan

Bio

This acoustic rock band combines the talents of four musicians from diverse musical backgrounds for a unique blend of soaring harmonies, upbeat rock numbers, and thought-provoking ballads. This band is known for a live show that pulls the audience in and takes them along for a diverse musical ride. Evolving from the acoustic guitar and vocal duo of Tristan Diver and Diana Nagy, Just Jill has been a favorite on the Michigan college circuit for nine years. With the addition of Tony Mitchel on drums and Mike Bertsch on electric and stand-up bass, the songs have taken on new rock rhythms and power. With Diana leaving the band and the addition of Mary Larkin on Lead Vocals, Just Jill has putting the Rrrr in Rock!!! In the Detroit area, they opened for RCA artist "Vertical Horizon" and have made appearances at the Detroit Festival of the Arts; Freedom Hill and Pontiac's Arts, Beats and Eats. They had three songs in rotation on the Modern Rock WMHW radio station in Mt. Pleasant and appeared on Central Michigan University's "Live from Studio A" television program. Their all-original CD "Three Chords and a Capo" has received critical acclaim and radio airplay for its captivating songs and flowing harmonies. They were nominated for a Detroit Music Award in 2006 for best Acoustic Group.

Just Jill has also been a featured artist on RTE/Lyric FM Grace Notes (Dublin, Ireland).
