St. Paul police estimated more than 100,000 people attended Sunday's Luis Palau evangelism festival, resulting in a two-day total of at least 180,000 at the Capitol grounds. Just.Live is a gospel Hip-Hop ministry that consists of two members, Deris “Just” Morgan, and Courtney “Live” Richards. It started back when the two young boys at the ages of 9 and 10, wrote a letter addressed to a local producer by the name of F. Darnell Davis (who produced their debut album THE MANUAL - 2003), asking if he would help them make an album. Their love for hip-hop music was as evident in them back then, as it is now. This love was later molded into a ministry, a ministry that would change the face of music, and change the face of hip-hop. In a world where the hip-hop genre is usually filled with materialism, and bad suggestions that feed our young people. Just.Live strives to be that alternative, by providing music that is an adequate alternate. They strive for perfection in every song, every lyric, and everything that Just.Live puts their signature on. Working with such people as Grammy Award winning Sounds of Blackness, to Stellar Award winning and Grammy Nominee, F. Darnell Davis. Opening for such acts as Marvin Saap, Tonex, Cross Movement, and many more. God has really blessed them and continues to mold them into what he’s calling them to be.
