Bio
Justo The Mc was born & raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn. He began writing between the ages of 10 & 12 & was highly influenced by genres such as Hip Hop, R&B, soul, neo soul, smooth jazz & funk music.
In 2010, Justo teamed up with his cousin, DJ Vic Black, of The Gang Starr Foundation, and together, the duo produced an arsenal of tracks including the self-published, "IT’S OUR YEAR" (Black Jewel Entertainment), as well as, "ENY"—a tribute to their hometown, East New York, Brooklyn. In 2011. "IT’S OUR YEAR" debuted along with a video featuring legendary DJ/Producer, DJ Premier of Gang Starr. The single and video were well received, and in a short period, music industry insiders were buzzing.
Since that time Justo has worked on numerous projects with a mixture of well known producers such as: Rockwilder, 5th Seal, Marco Polo, Lord Finesse & Showbiz of D.I.T.C. As well as countless producers/artist locally & abroad.
Justo is known for his storytelling, clarity, voice and presence. Justo's witty lyricism and thought provoking rhymes capture listeners and focus them on what's being said. Above all Justo's main objective is to bring a fresh voice that bridges the gap between young and old hip hop lovers in an oversaturated digital age of music.
