Born on the South Side of Chicago, Just Ro is a writer, producer, and an extremely charismatic rap artist who is prepared to take his place among the hip-hop elite. Just Ro is well known and highly respected on the Chicago underground, is a seasoned MC who burst upon the scene in 1997 with an independently released EP entitled MAKE IT HAPPEN which featured the lead single Confusion, a duet with a then upstart MC called Common Sense. Since then Ro has released two independent albums, been featured on countless mixtapes and worked alongside fellow Chicagoans Common, producer No ID (Common, Jay-Z, Bow Wow, Jaheim, Beanie Sigel and others), Grammy award winning producer/artist Kanye West and DTP/Def Jam artist Shawna. "Ro is a real soulful dude with a strong voice that demands your attention", states Common. "Ro is as good as it gets" states veteran producer No ID, "He is a mixture of Nelly and 2pac, he has extreme commercial appeal, yet he has substance, passion, a big voice and the ability to paint very vivid pictures."

Currently Just Ro is done putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated LP entitled “Evolution of Roland Hayes”, what many insiders describes as an album that will change the game! With production from the aforementioned Kanye West and No ID (and his protégés the dynamic duo Ron & Shabazz), it’s easy to see why many feels this way. In preparation for his introduction to the world Just Ro has begun performing at several local venues, appearing on local radio outlets, and filming a DVD about his struggle to make it to the top.
