The Just's Friends Band was organized in March 2011 in preparation for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Centennial Celebration in Washington, DC, in the summer of 2011. Just’s Friends uniquely centralizes the musical talents of 10 men of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Our friendship includes our talented songstress, the lovely Ms. Keyona "KeyKey" Hargett. The band has members that reside in Washington, DC, Northern, VA, and Central Maryland. The band performs a variety of current R&B, old school R&B, and jazz music in the DC metropolitan area. Recent performances include opening for the artist Chuck Brown at Crampton Auditorium – Howard University, the Alpha Omega Mardi Gras, Frederick County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Elegance in Jazz Brunch, Congressional Black Caucus, Loudin Men Cooking, Scholarship Gala for the 100 Black Men of Charlottesville, VA, Loudin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority 10th Anniversary Celebration, the Virginia State University – Northern VA Alumni Chapter Scholarship Gala, Corinthian’s Lounge and the Hampton Beach Fest Summer Concert Series.
