The current line-up go together in the summer of 2006. After practicing for only a month, Juvenescent Beat went into their friends studio to record their first EP. Shortly after finishing that, they played their first show in the basement of the Hanover Public Library. They played some more shows, and soon, put out their second EP.
Juvie Beat, as their fans call them, are influenced by classic punk and indie bands like Rites of Spring, Black Flag, Fugazi, the MC-5, and At the Drive-in. But rather than simply imitating their predecessors, they use them as a starting point for creating their own unique and cathartic sound.
