All it takes is one listen to Juvon Taylor to understand that he is a phenomenal R&B/Indie Folk Singer-Songwriter out of Toronto, Canada, just working and waiting to share his gift with the world. Taylor works very hard what he does. Always rehearsing, recording, self-promoting and writing new material.

Taylor, who has always had a love for music, he grew up listening to pop icon Michael Jackson, Reggae Artist Sean Paul, Usher, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Pharell, Jimi Hendrix, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Aretha Franklin. The list can go on; he likes all different kinds of music, that being said this gives him a wider range of a different and new vocal style. He started singing along in a Pentecostal church at the age of 7, then later at the age of 11 started writing raps along with rap melodies & pop songs at a later age. Taylor really discovered his voice at the age of 13, but hid it from his peers and family, afraid that his peers at his middle school would make fun of him like another boy who sang.

However, in in freshman year at York Memorial he did not care who heard him sing, in fact he wanted the world to hear his voice. Taylor then started taking music seriously at the age of 15, has been taking professional vocal lessons since 2008 at such acclaimed Toronto schools as York Memorial, Etobicoke School of the Arts and Big Voice Studios (Elaine Overholt).

Known to his friends, fans and schoolmates as "Jay Tee", Taylor was an active user on YouTube with his first video posted in March 2008. Taylor was consistently posting homemade webcam videos covering songs by popular artists such as Trey Songz, Usher, Ne-Yo, and Chris Brown. To date, his channel on YouTube has over 5,000 subscribers, and over 1,000,000 views. His YouTube channel has brought numerous opportunities. Including collaborating with other Producers/Artists/YouTube postee’s, writing material for other up and coming artist, becoming a session artist and networking.

Taylor, who recently completed his final high school year at the famous Etobicoke School of the Arts, has an extensive career in acting. He has trained professionally at a number of schools throughout Toronto, and has held roles in "Seussical the Musical", "The Thing About my Baby" and most recently, Roger in the popular musical, "Rent," He has been televised for 2 different shows on the discovery channel, starred in 2 short films and had a principle role in a web series.

He has been playing guitar for almost two years and piano for almost 3 years, which he is self-taught in both fields.
Named a "triple threat" because he can sing and act, Taylor is also a trained dancer. He is skilled in hip-hop, jazz, modern, lyrical and ballet. Studied at York Memorial, Etobicoke School of The Arts, Randolph Theatre, Gotta Dance Canada & Metro Movement. Realistically he’s a septuple threat being a singer/songwriter, actor, dancer, producer, rapper, guitarist, and pianist + Performer if necessary.
