J.V. real name Javon Mays is an American rapper, singer, song writer who was born on March 4 1988, and raised in North St. Louis. Coming up in an environment that is known for many acts of violence he used music as a way of escape. Unlike many other artists he sought to deversify himself from what was expected by trying to better define himself so he would not be seen as a rapper or a singer but as an artist, this would allow his music to stand out. With the intent to succeed and the help of his outstanding management team and lable (Elevated Thought Entertainment) he hopes to fulfill his dream of winning his award, reading his acceptance speech and walking away with a new title (GRAMMY AWARD WINNING).
