J-WALK

Jamal "J-Walk" Walker was born July 14, 1986 in Chicago, IL. He made several transitions from Chicago to Texarkana, AR before making Texarkana his permanent residence. During that time he developed a strong interest in music and At the age 15 he dropped his first mixtape entitled "Get It How You Live" which was a blend of his midwest Chicago style and his new Southern home style. He dropped several other mixtapes over the years including his two most recent projects "New Jack City" and"Dope Boi English" hosted by S.O.D.M.G. & BMF Swishgang artist Calico Jonez. "Dope Boi English featured a track titled "Feeling So Gangsta" which was produced by Knucklehead on the Beat Boy and was locally successful and appeared on mixconnect.com and datpiff.com. In 2009 he was co-signed by Calico Jonez and "32" of BMF SWISHGANG and since then has opened for numerous artist such as Gucci Mane, Webbie, Hurricane Chris, and Lil' Boosie. He currently working on his latest projects a mixtape entitled "Dope Boi English vol.2 "Eatn Greedy and an album, "J-Walk Muzik".
