JW Carlson and the Heartstrings was formed when the singer-songwriter met up with a lifelong violinist. Bass, cello, and banjo were added, and the result is a folk band with a rock-n-roll heart. Elements of classical and bluegrass music make this band unique...oh, and they can jam!!!
