As a young and inspired CEO/Producer and musician, "J-Wellz's" music and talents resonate. Literally. Who is "J-Wellz"? He's more than just a Producer. If you don't think you've heard of "J-Wellz", perhaps you've felt him. He's taken his music all over Illinois, creating both quick and anxious rhythms that feel like a runner's heartbeat. Both eclectic and unique, his music is edgy with mellow undercurrents that pulse in your spine like the pressure from a masseuse's fingertips. He describes his own style as a combination of many genres. The grandson of esteemed blues artist Gerald "Candy" Foster, "J-Wellz" grew immersed in music. His grandfather and parents, who were both singers and musicians, served as great influences. His other musical influences include producers/writers Timbaland, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Will I Am, Dr. Dre, Teddy Riley, Marvin Winans, Fred Hammond, Rodney Jerkins, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Sean "Diddy" Combs. Also, he is inspired by their success and business savvy. His abilities are far-reaching. He taught himself how to play the drums at an early age, as well as the piano. Since then he's been a musician around the midwest and some of the south. Having played for artists such as Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark-Sheard, Ricky Dillard, James Hall, Kurt Karr, Brian Wilson, and a plethora of others. Working with these artists helped hone and sharpen his undeniable skills. "J-Wellz's" passion and drive speak for themselves.
