I've been exposed to hip-hop/ rap since the age of three when my mom used to listen to it with me in the car. I started with Eminem (my favorite of all time, although my sound is much different from his), 50 Cent, and Jay-Z. Other large influences on me have been Kanye West, J. Cole, and Drake. I've grown to like other up and comers too such as ASAP Rocky and Big Sean. I have a broad love for music that isn't solely for Hip-Hop. I grew up listening to RnB artists such as Ne-yo and Usher. I've been singing in choirs at my schools since the 5th grade and was recently accepted at Berklee College of Music for my vocals, where I will begin school in the fall of 2012. What sets me apart from other artists is my ability to mix the sounds of hip-hop, r n b, and pop music, my unique voice, and my lyrical content which is 100% the truth (unlike so many artists).I will be releasing my first mixtape this spring (the music is complete, just waiting on cover artwork etc.) and will be shooting three or more videos to go along with it (I play basketball so I have been waiting for my last season to end to make my big push.) I know that I have the talent and the drive to make it in this industry, I'm just waiting for my opportunity to arise.
