"Jw Riza performs in Nashville, excited about musical career"

Jw Riza is finding out about the crazy hours a songwriter and musician lives after taking a trip to Nashville, Tennnesee, But he says it's not much different than being a Police Officer.
"Nothing has really Changed. I still running circles and jumping through loops." said Mr. Riza.
He is referring to the similarities between the hectic lifesyle of a Police Sargeant and a Musician.
Mr. Riza has taken leave from the Giddings Police Department to Pursue his Musical Career, and has the option to return to the Police Force.
After visiting Nashville a couple of weeks ago, Mr. Riza
came back with many memorable experienecs and was surprised about the changes the City has undergone over the years.
"I was surprised by the Lack of Cowboy Hats. I was playing there five days before I even saw three people wearing Cowboy Hats". He Said, "It was like playing Austin".
The Highlight of the trip was playing at Tootsie's, a Honky- Tonk bar that was frequented by Hank Willaims. The Bar is located across the alley from the Ryman Auditorium, and performers used to walk across the alley to visit Tootsie's.
"It was neat playing at Tootsie's and fun visiting Nashville. The People were very receptive and everyone was real nice" said Mr. Riza.
Shortly after getting back to Giddings, about to weeks ago, Riza and His Band went back to work. They are currently working on three different Cds with a variety of music styles-Gospel, Texas Music and Traditional Country.
After another Trip to Nashville this April, Mr. Riza plans to be performing at area musical shows, including Country Music Monday in Giddings.
"We have been contacted about playing at differenet places, but we're still working on perfecting our music right now," He said.
