Bio

Whether you call it "passion", "persistence" or "a calling," the fact is that some people are born to sing and create music. With hopes of reviving the music industry, the multi-talented R&B sensation, J’wyn, is fully equipped to tackle the entertainment industry. With his undeniable talent, incredible voice and songwriting ability, he is someone that the world will know soon. Music has been the central theme in J’wyn's life for as long as he can remember and now, 14 years later, this multi-talented singer, songwriter, and arranger seeks to fulfill his childhood dreams and ambitions. Born and raised in Delaware, family roots were important to J’wyn as he recalls growing up in a household that encouraged him to follow his heart and never look away from his dreams. Ultimately, J’wyn's biggest inspiration is his mother who is also musically inclined.... At 22 years of age, J’wyn was apart of the 180 artist selected to compete in LA in the 2003 Talent2K competition. Although he was not a finalist in the competition, he was determined to breakthrough the entertainment industry. Shortly after he returned home to Delaware, and after months of consideration about his music career he then moved to Maryland and joined up with a Music Production group, (Rasaan “The Rain Man” James and former NFL player, singer/songwriter Darnerien). "Ride with us" which was produced by the highly established Scotty Beam. The single swept Delaware/Maryland and District of Columbia with outstanding airplay that Rob Jay of Kiss 101.7 FM could not ignore. Although things did not work out for the group, it was a blessing in disguise because J’wyn realized that his talent could stand-alone. The highlight of J’wyn's music career was the decision to team up with Proverbial Slang Music Group, a group of multi-talented producers, writers, and engineers in the heart of the DMV. Taking the city by storm within a month's time, J’wyn's first single, "Welcome", could constantly be heard in Delaware and the DMV and at college events thanks to Partyboy Entertainment CEO John Dough. Currently, J’wyn and Proverbial Slang. are promoting his debut solo album entitled "Creative Influneces". With mind-blowing lyrics, insane harmonies, and beats that rattle the soul, the album is sure to be an instant success not only in his hometown, but eventually worldwide. J’wyn is destined to succeed in all his endeavors. His intelligence coupled wit his experience proves that he is ready to capture the entertainment industry. Simply put, he's got next!
